Hello summertime! Watermelon is such a super beauty food and now is the time to take advantage of all it’s incredible benefits.

I just recently read about someone adding frozen watermelon cubes to their smoothie which is something that I have not tried until this morning. Let’s just say this combo I threw together was quite lovely.

  1. Add water, coconut water and chia seeds in blender to soak while you are pulling together the rest of the ingredients. Once the chia seeds gel add the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Blend and serve!

I calculated the nutritional value in My Fitness Pal and it was 312 calories, 41 g carbs, 18 g protein, 9 g fat, 8 g fiber, 685 mg potassium, 35% vitamin A, 97% vitamin C, 10% calcium, and 16% iron.
